My Sweet New Friend: Montebello, CA

The prettiest little baby girl ever!  Her eyes were so captivating.  The best thing of all was that she really liked me, so much so that she followed me everywhere and wanted to do what I was doing.  It was so cute!  It made it a little hard to photograph her but I had a blast . . . again!  I think she did too until she realized we weren't just playing together and that there was a goal to get pictures of her. :)

Taking photos of children is so much fun.  I love that you really have no choice but to capture true emotions and expressions; what the result is . . . fun and natural!  I never know what to expect when going to a photo shoot for children.  With this photo shoot Mr. Cutie just sat there in one place smiling.  Miss Cutie, on the other hand, thought she'd make me run, jump, chase and jump for me to get some cool shots of her. :)  It was a lot of fun and here are a few......

It's Pumpkin Patch Time

We just moved to the area about a year and a half ago.  We thought we'd check out a new pumpkin patch.  It was the biggest pumpkin patch I've ever seen, located in Pomona at the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store.  It started out with 90,000 pumpkins!  

Anyway, since the weather was beautiful and we had so much fun we went two days in a row. :)

Wedding: Aliso Viejo

I had the privilege of shooting a wedding last month!  What a sweet and beautiful couple!  You should have seen them dance the night away with their guests at the reception.  Everyone had such blast!  It was a perfect day.  A week before the wedding was scorching hot but the weather on the day of the wedding was a perfect 72 degrees!  I love how God does things like that. :)

PS Family: Honolulu, HI

Okay . . . would you think I'm vain if I thought I had some of the best looking family members?  I got a chance to take some family pix of my cousins and their kids who are just the cutest!  We went to a garden . . . or was it a cemetery. . . in any case, it was beautiful like the rest of the island.  "Lucky they live Hawaii."

G Family - Newport Beach, CA

Love love love this family!  They are beautiful, cool, fun and really good friends of ours.  Got to get a few shots of them before they moved to Alaska.  Yup . . . from California to Alaska.  We're going to miss them!  Traffic to Newport Beach  was really bad so we got there later than expected and the light was practically gone but we worked with it and did the best we could.

CMK - Korea/Claremont

Had so much fun photographing Chan-mi!  She was visiting from Korea and I'm so glad I had the chance to spend some time with her.  She's one of the most selfless mature teen-agers I have ever met.  Her faith and love for her Maker compels her in life and it's so refreshing and inspiring.  What I've captured is just a glimpse of what shines from the inside out.      

B.P. Claremont, CA

Meet B.P.  Talk about a little model!  She was great to work with and super fun!  We took her photos in Claremont, CA near the Claremont Colleges.  We would walk a couple of steps and take some shots then walk a couple steps more and take more pictures.  She was awesome!

B.V. Pasadena, CA

Meet my friend B.V.  She's beautiful both inside and out.  At one point in our lives, we weren't just friends, we were co-workers and roommates.  She introduced me to this beautiful, quaint "secret garden" in Pasadena.  I had the pleasure of taking photos of her in this beautiful garden, enjoying good company and a nice cup of Starbucks coffee.  I also forgot to mention comparing notes on how our phones are good for everything but talking on the phone. :)  Thanks B.V. for a great time!
